It’s official, Lil Wayne wins the Grammy for “Album of the Year.” According to predictions by yours truly. I mean let’s be honest, what other album has a chance in this category. If they had a Grammy for Mixtape Album of the Year he’d probably win that too.
2008 was Weezy F. Baby’s year. He solidified himself in the eyes of many as the best rapper alive. 1,000,000 albums sold in its first week! During a recession and battered music industry, Wayne definitely needs some Grammy acknowledgment.
Although it won’t be official until later on tonight, I’m putting it out there now so everyone knows that yosefsolomon.com officially picked The Carter III as the Grammy Album of the Year. Shout out to all the rest of the contestants though, they did there thing.

UPDATE: They bopp’d Lil Wayne, how could this happen! Oh well, at least he got a couple other ones like Best Rap Album!
