2009 NBA All-Star Weekend

Phoenix, Arizona is the place to be this weekend. Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Dwight Howard and a lot more dope players will be participating in the 58th annual NBA All-Star game Sunday February 15th, 8PM EST on TNT.

Saturday will be the 2009 Slam-Dunk Competition, featuring J.R. Smith, Dwight Howard, Rudy Fernandez and UW alumni Nate Robinson. This should be interesting. Dwight Howard is creative as hell and J.R. Smith got crazy bounce, but I gotta go with Nate…2009’s Reign Man!

The Celebirty game is tonight at 7PM EST on TNT, featuring the one and only Chris Tucker. I need to go cop Money Talks right now…Hilarious! Terrell Owens is playing too, so that should be interesting; he actually got game. The Rookie game is also on tonight featuring former Sonic Kevin Durant and this year’s Rookie of the Year (my prediction at least)

Overall, I’m looking forward to the All-Star game on Sunday. It’s crazy how much talent there is in the NBA right and to just watch these guys world go against each other is any basketball fans dream. I can’t lie though, I Iike playing a lot more then watching, but this weekend is definitely an exception.
