Palm is currently holding a promotion where they give out phones and data plans and ask users to blog, socialize and spread the word of how they feel about the phone. Here’s the blurb from there blog: “If you’re selected as a Real Reviewer, we’ll provide you with a current-model phone and data-plan service for six months. We’ll expect you to regularly share your thoughts about your experiences with your phone on whatever blogs and social networks you frequent (but you’re already doing that, right?). ”

Ok, its not totally free, but Baskin Robbins is selling 3 scoops of ice cream for $.31 today. That’s crazy! Finally some recession proof prices. I really more and more companies need to be doing this.
