“I’m Gettin’ Google Adsense Money”

So today I decided to install Google Adsense into my blog because I thought it would be interesting to see how much money you could really make off your own interests. Turns out quite a bit. If you didn’t read my last tweet, I made $.25 in an hour! What?! “I’m Gettin’ ~~Arab~~ Google Adsense Money” Gumball machine money baby!

I think the most important way in achieving actual revenue through adsense is well structured and thought out content. At the end of the day people just want to get something out of your blog. Whether you can offer tips about travel, events, cheap eats or anything else you think is vital information, people will come.

Another important thing I think people should remember when posting ads on their sites is making it appealing. I hate visiting sites that are ad infested and you have to search for actual content. If you want an example check out lalate.com. Even though I just hooked them up with some link love, you should know what your site shouldn’t look like.

Other than that I really encourage people to have their own blogs because it gives you an outlet for what you think, believe and feel. Even if people don’t read it, you almost feel like you accomplish something with every post. Or at least that’s how I feel. Plus, I like going to the Mac store and browsing my blog on their dope iMacs.
