If you’re in the LA area two weeks now you definitely gotta check out the C-Nice and Maino Pre-BET Awards show. Scheduled on June 25th at the Key Club on Sunset, C-nice will be opening up for Maino (”Hi Hater” “All of The Above”). During Nice’s performance they will also be shooting his first video. It’s gonna be crazy, you gotta come out and support!

I’ll be attending the Media Club event tonight at the Skybar on Sunset. It’s a new type of networking event that allows people in the entertainment, social media and technology industries to connect. This is the 2nd time I’ll be attending an event put on by the Media Club. The first one was at The Standard Purple Lounge only a few blocks down from the Skybar.

Tavis Smiley came through the Agape Spiritual Center today and plugged his 10th Annual State of the Black Union Conference. The event will be held @ the Los Angeles Convention Center, February 28th, 2009. Admission is FREE and doors open @ 6:00am. If your not in the area, CSPAN will be airing the entire conference. I have no idea what channel CSPAN is on cuz I’m never watching it, but if you have cable you should be good.

Kanye West will be appearing on VH1’s newest show: VH1 Storytellers. He’ll do a couple of songs off his latest album 808’s and Heartbreaks and answer some heartfelt questions. I’m guessin it’s kind of like MTV Unplugged with the whole intimate vibe.
